Boot order of modules in 5400zl (PoE and wireless controller 765zl)
Hello,
we have a 5400zl Switch with some PoE line cards and and integrated 765zl wireless controller. After a power cycle of the switch the access points sometimes does not synchronyze with the wireless controller, because the access points are already provided with PoE but the wireless controller needs more time to come up than the access points try to detect their controller.
The current work around is to reboot the affected access points a second time after the MSM controller is ready. Either I walk through the building, unplug and re-plug the APs or I perform a "no interface [port] power-over-ethernet" followed by an "interface [port] power-over-ethernet".
Is there anyway to delay the PoE delivery after a boot (e.g. 10 min), such that the controller has enough time to get ready before the APs are started?
