Hello,
I have a VSF stack with two 2930F
I want to perform a firmware upgrade on these but I dont want to reboot the two members of at once.
Im unable to find a guide on how to perorm a controlled upgrade of a VSF stack.
Anyone have any idea?
The "vsf sequential-reboot" command is not avaliable on the 2930F.

SolutionThe vsf sequenced-reboot CLI Command (VSF Fast Software Update) is available ONLY on Aruba 5400R zl2 platform when deployed in VSF.
Aruba 2930F VSF supports only the entire fabric reboot (thus every VSF Member will concurrently reboot and a Commander re-election will happen at the end).
I suggest you to read the newly published Aruba Backplane Stacking and VSF Best Practices on ArubaOS-Switch Technical White Paper (written with ArubaOS-Switch 16.08 in mind).

Re: Firmware Upgrade VSF stack
Hello and thank you for that information.
I read through the pdf, much to my dissapointment. Ill jusdt have to use them as seperat switches and use the DAC-cable as an uplink instead of running them in VSF.

Re: Firmware Upgrade VSF stack
It's a matter of finding a tiny maintenance window (let me say below 10 minutes to be conservative).
