Flow Control ProCurve 2810
My objective is to try and eliminate performance bottlenecks on my iscsi setup. Various suggestions have indicated swtiching on flow control on the ports.
Now i need some advice. Why would flow control not be running on port that is enabled for flow control. See config below (relevant lines in bold)
Ports 13, 16, 19 - 21 are all enabled for flow control yet the only one that seems to have it switched on is port 19.

Re: Flow Control ProCurve 2810
Is Flow-Control enabled on the devices connected to the ports you specify?

Re: Flow Control ProCurve 2810
I eventually changed out the switches. ProCurve 2810-24G were simply not good enough for iSCSI. I put in old Dell powerConnects with large port buffers and everything started working smoothly. And to answer your question, yes flow control was switched on then. Not any more as not needed.

Re: Flow Control ProCurve 2810
we went from 2810 to 2910al switches for iSCSI for better performance, also no Jumbo and flow control at same time per HP on the 2810, OK to do both on 2910al switches.
