HP 8212zl switch doesn't route between vlans.
Hello,
I have HP 8212zl bb switch and i want to use multiple vlans. I created vlans
100, 192.168.100.1
101, 192.168.101.1
102 192.168.102.1
on sw CLI vlans pings each other.
i tagged A2 for vlan 101 and and A3 for 102 .
I plugged A2 port a PC (its ip 192.168.101.15) and A3 another PC (192.168.102.15).
192.168.101.15 pings 192.168.101.1 and 192.168.102.1 but not pinging 192.168.102.15
Am i missing something . Could you have advise.
Thanks.

Re: HP 8212zl switch doesn't route between vlans.
You wrote "I tagged A2 for vlan 101" but if you mean to say you "untagged A2 for vlan 101" then you configured it correctly (you wouldn't have been able to ping the gateway if you hadn't) so if your devices are both using the correct default gateway and subnet mask, and as long as you don't have any ACL's configured the issue is most likely with the devices and possible a firewall preventing PING.
