HP Procurve 2510 Switch
I have a 2510 switch that ping and traceroute is blocked on. (I need to be able to get a response from the switch on both these commands.) How do I turn them on?
I was going to use "ip icmp echo broadcast-request" for ping. Found out my switch does not have the "icmp".

Re: HP Procurve 2510 Switch
ICMP answers are enabled by default, but I'm not quite sure what switches you have.
Could you provide us your product number? It usually starts with a J followed by numbers.
