How to create port channels across the switches?
we have 5406 and 5412 switches. 5412 is the root switch with a trunk to 5406.
we have netapp 2040 bonding 4 nics as lacp vif on each head.
if I split the 4 nics to make 2 nics on 5412 and 2 nics onf 5406 switch. how can I create a port channels across the switches?

Re: How to create port channels across the switches?
Creating an aggregated link (ie LACP) in ProCurve is easy:
trunk b1-b4 trk1 lacp
Doing that over 2 ProCurve switches with ProVision ASICs will require the use of distributed trunking. you create a dedicated link (ISC) between the 2 switches, and then you can create a distributed LACP link over the 2 switches. There are several documents and the manuals that explain that config.
