Hi all,
i am new to Networking world. In my work place i have HPAruba 5400 switch configured to connect to default gateway which is (192.168.1.100), so i have all my devices connected to this switch here.My switch MGMT ip is 192.168.1.103.
I have 4 vlans thats in use including the dafualt vlan.
First vlan is ranges are like , 10.9.8.xx, 10.9.9.xx, 10.9.12.xx and default gateway for allt these nework is 10.9.8.54/255.255.248.0.
2nd vlan is configured to connect 2nd network 10.9.0.xx and the default gateway is 10.9.0.254/255.255.254.0.
3rd vlan im using as a backup to getinto other networks..
So im having a issue on the first vlan to connect to the same trange i have on my netowrk schedule.
for example. i can ping the gateway 10.9.8.254 where my ip on the machine is 10.9.12.8 and the other machine is on 10.9.9.64 .Technically they both are on same network. But i cant get them to ping each other. What would be the cause would be..
I'm sorry i know my detaily isn't nothing closer to beginner level. But im trying toi give a fight. Please let me know your thoughts.
I will add the swith configuration as well.
