J8692A 3500YL-24G IS1S011E Console Output
When powering up switch I get IS1S011E and canoot get to a prompt please help

Can you do a hard-reset of the switch to factory config?

Tryed to do a hard reset nothing and its at the proper speed. I have a couple of these with the exact same error

If you haven't already, you might verify that the exact same cable and terminal does work on a different switch. Assuming you have your terminal set to 9600-8-N-1, then it would appear that you have a corrupted BOOTROM. In that case, i would recommend contacting support. They will likely ask you to do a little troubleshooting but will likely replace the switch for you. It is possible that a software update was interupted during the bootrom update and it got corrupted. For some software updates, the bootrom is also updated automatically but it does double the time it takes for the upgrade to complete.

Confirmed we had a 3500YL-48G do the same thing. Call in and recevied an RMA.
