K15.06.0017 or K15.07.0008
Planning on upgrading the firmware on some switches and noticed that HP recenently released both K15.06.0017 and k15.07.0008.
After reviewing the release notes, I noticed K verisons missing on the 15.07.0008. The software enhancements/fixes stop at 15.06.008.
Question is, are the enhancement/fixes for 15.06.0009 -> .0017 included in release 15.07.0008?
Thanks,
-Bob

Re: K15.06.0017 or K15.07.0008
Hi
06.0008 is the version where K.15.07 branched out. Some issues are already fixed in the initial release, and these you won't find in the release notes. However if an issue has been found in both branches, it's also been fixed in both branches. Just compare the release notes, the CR number for an issue is the same regardless of the branch.

Re: K15.06.0017 or K15.07.0008
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I was able cross reference some the CR items between the two releases, but not all. If I am correct in reading your response, you mentioned that all the fixes that are in K15.06.0009 ->.017 were resolved with K15.07.0008 release even though they are not list in the notes?
Thanks,

Re: K15.06.0017 or K15.07.0008
Hi
Sorry for being unclear.
That wasn't what I mean. If you find a fix in 06.0017 release notes but on in 07.0008, you have basically two options:
- the issue isn't present in 07 -branch at all because it's been fixed already on the initial build
- the issue hasn't been encountered with 07 -branch yet.
Unfortunately it's very difficult to find out which issues were corrected in the initial build, if not downright impossible. 07 has been out as EA release for quite some time now, and I'm not aware of any issues which are open on 07 but fixed on 06 at this point.
