Port Settings not taking on an HP6600
My HP6600 seems to ignore the configred port speed settings. If I set my port speed to say auto-100, it will still connect at 1000FDx, such as:
SWG# show int status
Port Name Status Config-mode Speed
-------- ---------- ------- ------------- --------
1 bugsark... Up Auto-100 1000FDx
2 wikfel-... Up Auto-100 100FDx
3 termiof... Up 100FDx 1000FDx
4 monster... Up Auto-100 100FDx
5 octttto... Up Auto-100 1000FDx
6 barvde.... Up Auto-100 1000FDx
Anyone ever see this behavior or have any suggestions?

Re: Port Settings not taking on an HP6600
Did you shut the port down then bring it back up after reconfiguring its speed?

Re: Port Settings not taking on an HP6600
Yes, I was in the process of configuring a new port for use,, limited to 100mbps. Just after, I attached a laptop and ran a speed test and was getting 1000. I shut down, reconfigured, tried different speed settings, swapped out cables... It still connects at the higher speed. I tried a different free port and same thing.
