Procurve 2810, maximize inbound throughput for connected server
I have an HP DL380-G7 server that has 4 on-board GB NICs. This server will be connected to an HP Procurve 2810 switch. The server will be running an application that acts as a repository for multiple "client" servers to replicate to. Since multiple servers will be constantly sending updates to this backend server, I want to maximize the inbound throughput for this server. With 4GB NICs and the Procurve 2810, what is the best way to do that? Combination of HP NIC Teaming on the server and trunking on the switch? Thanks.
Bill

Re: Procurve 2810, maximize inbound throughput for connected server
NIC teaming on the server and an LACP trunk on the switch is definitely the most common way to set that up, and is well-supported by most operating systems.
