Hi,
I have would like to implement a QoS strategy on vlan based. I am new to HP so I did little bit of research before implementing it, as far as i have read on different community board and HP knowledge base, all i think i need to do is activate Qos on my switch globally and then activate it on each. So for example if on my 3540 switch i have 5 vlans; Vlan 1 for management,Vlan10 for VoIP, vlan 15 for wired, Vlan 20 for SAN and Vlan 35 for wireless...
then as far as i know what i need to configure in 3540 is following:
(config)#qos type-of-service dscp
vlan 1 qos ef
vlan 10 qos ef
vlan 15 qos af13
vlan 20 qos af43
vlan 35 qos af13
My question is are these commands enough to implement QoS on my network?

Re: QoS on HP/Aruba
Hello,
What is the device product number 'JXXXXX' ?
I believe you need to modify like this:
(config)#qos type-of-service diff-services
vlan 1 qos dscp ef
vlan 10 qos dscp ef
vlan 15 qos dscp af13
vlan 20 qos dscp af43
vlan 35 qos dscp af13
Thanks!
