vlan 20    -----     192.168.20.2     -  E36 - E48

after i created every thing i configured 2 PC with static IP , every one of them ping their gateway , OK , but when I ping each other ( request timed out ) , I tired IP routing not working , please help me on this , I need each vlan to ping each other .

Re: Routing

What model? Do the computers have the switch as default gw?

Re: Routing

Switch Model ( HP PROCURVE E2620-48 POE + Switch ) - ( J9627A )

Their GW is router connected to switch and DHCP enabled on the router

Re: Routing

Then no routing is done in the HP switch, the problem is likely in your router.

Re: Routing

Thanks Sir ,, Can you tell me how to let the two computers in every VLAN to ping each others , because i cannot , and my router is Linksys RV042

Re: Routing

Well I cannot really help you with your Linksys router, but it should have to be configured like some VLAN-aware router on a stick. If you set the .2 addresses of your switch as default GW on your clients they will be able to ping each other also, but probably not be able to reach internet or other resources.
