SNMP monitoring for J4887A HP ProCurve 4104GL Switch
Hello,
We have several HP ProCurve in our network, and we’d like to monitor on them things like:
Traffic on ports,
Fans,
Temperature,
Up time.
I first would like to monitor a ProCurve 4104GL
So, I downloaded from here
https://h10145.www1.hpe.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=J4887A
The last MIBs’ version: MIBS - August 2016
And the switch has the last firmware: G.07.117
But,
I didn’t succeed to find the right OIDs out of the up-time where I use this OID : 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.9.1.1.5.76
For example,
in the hpicfDcFan.mib
There is this:
HpicfDcFanState ::= TEXTUAL-CONVENTION STATUS current DESCRIPTION "An enumerated value which provides an indication of the fan state." SYNTAX INTEGER { failed(0), removed(1), off(2), underspeed(3), overspeed(4), ok(5), maxstate(6) }
How can I use or translate HpicfDcFanState?
If someone knows those OIDs (Traffic on ports, fans, Temperature,…) or where I can get them, I’ll be pleased.
Thanks
Sam.
