Switch replacement remotely
Hi
We are doing HP switch replacement remotely .Usually new switches will connected to existing switches LAN port and it will get IP from DHCP,then we telnet the new switch and config all parameneters except Default gate way and default gateway ( will ask Field Engineer to change the Default VLan and gateway at locally ) . Whenever tried to change these both parameter , we will lost the connectivity as new switch in different subnet with existing switch .
Do we have any other option for change the default gateway of new switch from remotely while replacement ?
Regards
