VSF link error via local ethernet

Hello,

I have an error on my second vsf link between my two members.
This second link goes through a local ethernet managed by Orange.
Below is the result of the link:
CLUSTER # sh vsf link detail
VSF Member: 1 Link: 1
Port State
-------- ------------
1 / G1 Up: Connected to port 2 / G1
1 / H1 Error: No response from peer
VSF Member: 2 Link: 1
Port State
-------- ------------
2 / G1 Up: Connected to port 1 / G1
2 / H1 Error: Unknown

And here is the VSF configuration:
vsf
enable domain 10
member 1
type "J9851A" mac-address ecebb8-dd2b00
priority 200
link 1 1 / G1,1 / H1
link 1 name "I-Link1_1"
exit
member 2
type "J9851A" mac-address 089734-b48400
priority 180
link 1 2 / G1,2 / H1
link 1 name "I-Link2_1"
exit
port-speed 10g
exit

Would there be a specific command to specify that the 2 members are not directly connected?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Can you check 'show log' and share the messages?

Thanks!

Re: VSF link error via local ethernet

Hello,

Here is the answer to my problem: The VSF protocol only supports live links between devices, adding a device between the 2 switches is not supported.

The VSF link passing through an ethernet room of an operator with the installation of a RAD on each side, this is why the link is in ERROR.
