Yes, those are good if you have a module switch and you need to know the info about the different modules.
"getmib sysdescr.0" was indeed what I was looking for.

If your switch supports piping it you can filiter the output (case sensitive):
show lldp info local | inc System Description
or
show lldp info local | inc J
