Voice configuration and QOS... HP 5500-48G-PoE+-4SFP HI and HP 2920-48G-POE+
Hi Guys,
I'm a little bit confused about my configuration between my two switches since they both have different CLI. To be honest, I'm not even sure why HP or our Partner put these two types of switches together. Anyhow, I'm trying to get a proper configuration for our Voice VLAN's with QOS. Here is the configuration for both switches...

I just want to be sure that my configuration for my Voice VLAN's are configured properly between the switches and on the VLAN's themselves.
On the same lines, the issue we're actually having and the reason I'm posting this question is because some of our Wireless phones are having issues. I'll start by making sure my switches are properly configured and if anyone wants to jump into details on my Wireless configuration, it's using Cisco WLC with Cisco AP's. The WLAN that the phones are on are using the default "Platinum" Cisco voice settings and the ports the AP's have DSCP configured.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I know this is a HP forum but perhaps someone knows something about my Cisco configuration as well.

Re: Voice configuration and QOS... HP 5500-48G-PoE+-4SFP HI and HP 2920-48G-POE+
Selecting Platinum on WLC is only a start.
Voor VOIP, ideally wireless cells should be smaller, using more APs , transmitting at lower power.
Disable all 802.11B rates, this way wireless endpoints earlier drop old AP when roaming to new AP. Also, on newer releases of WLC software, you can specify lower receive level threshold. If client signal gets below it, the AP kicks the clients , forcing roaming action. Also, do voip clients have ccx extensions build-in?
