connecting multiple Procurve 2510s

Good afternoon,  I have what should be a simple question.

I have 3 ProCurve 2510's in a new environment.  I've attempted to just connect them via the GB ports one to the next to the next.  Each of them has an IP statically assigned to them -- but the 2nd and 3rd switches don't work (I can't get network connectivity to them).

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Craig

Do you get link lights when you patch them to each other?

Do you need to trunk VLANs between them?

Not much we can tell you unless you provide switch configs and logs covering the events that occur when you connect them.

Thanks for the reply.  I figured it out.  Seems that the switches I purchased from Newegg were restocked, and had a VLAN setup which tagged the uplink ports.
