how to disable IGMP v1 query packet for 5406zl
I'm using a procurve switch 5406zl, running multicast traffic on IGMP v2.
Client use IGMP v2, when join group, client send V2 report packet; when leave group, client send V2 leave packet.
The switch sends V2 query packet every 2 minutes.
But each time client sends V2 leave packet, the switch immediately sends V1 query packet to ask who is still in the group . When client receives the v1 query packet, it turns into IGMP v1 mode, then causes network traffic flood.
Is there any way to disable the switch to send v1 query packet?
Thank you very much.

Hi,
Please share the switch firmware details with IGMP configuration implemented.
