hpicfPortSecAuthFailure MAC-Adress
We have some 2920 switches and recieve on our monitoring server (HP IMC) the snmp trap hpicfPortSecAuthFailure. the mac-adress is something like àÕ^ê´¯. How can we get the correct formated mac-adresss?

Hi,
the trap definition im IMC is this
and the alarm shows this
The switch firmware version is WB.16.05.0004.
IMC version is E0605P06 on Windows 2012 R2
The hpicfUsrAuthWMAFailMAC parameter should be the correct MAC adress, so we can search for the device.

Hi
I checked internally about it and founds to be compatible with versions..
There can be multiple issues and needs to analysis the logs as to why sync is not happening and there can be issue with port security authentications.
You will need to raise case with HPE for taking the remote session as sync is not happening and needs to be check in details
