But, the problems continue (new version of b/u software will not control the autoloader consistently) and using the L&TT I can see that there is a 4.06 version of firmware. after downloading and going to the local firmware files tab, the selectable column says "wrong prefix" and I am stuck there.
Is this a valid firmware rev or a bug in L&TT?
Also, is there a website that actually has a list of bugs fixed etc. for each version for this device?

SolutionThe 4.06 image is for a similar product with a different controller board. LTT is correct in saying it is the wrong prefix (4 instead of 3).
There is no external website with the firmware changes. HP CEs can access service notes that list changes.
