HP LTO Autoloader 1/9 (LVD) with Backupexec 8.6
HP LTO Autoloader 1/9 (LVD) with Backupexec 8.6
2 Questions!
1.What ideal SCSI card should I use with this Autoloader (It is LVD)
2. When backing up our HP Netserver LH4R Xeon remotely the throughput rate is only 35Mb/Min!
On other servers the throughput is ok (Varies between 50Mb/Min and 450Mb/Min) but still not what it should be. The LH4R sometimes just reboots itself during this backup if I use the Remote agent(At more or less the same point), but runs fine without the agent but at the price of a 60 hour backup!! (130Gb)
Please help!

1. The recommended card is the Adaptec 29160.
The following website lists the netserver support for the 1/9:
http://www.hp.com/products1/storage/compatibility/hardware/ultrium-hp/index.html
Use of the embedded (SCSI B) port in a NetServer is not recommended (or supported).

The journey IS the reward.
