Surestore 1/9 and Arcserve spanning

I'm having difficulty using Brightstore 2000 to span across tapes in my Surestore autoloader. The drive doesn't automatically load/unload the tapes it needs. It works fine when I select a slot or tape to use on its own but when it needs another tape it waits for me to change it. I've set up media pools of various sizes but it still won't move onto the next tape when the first one is full. Has anyone got any ideas, am I missing a really simple option?

How do you choose the destination ? You must select the GROUP name as destination rather than selecting the particular slot/tape.
