Will SimpleSave External Hard Drive work with Servers?

I'm looking at 1TB USB HP SimpleSave hard drive with automatic backup. Literature says it works with Windows XP, Vista and 7. Does anyone know if the automatic backup will work with Windows 2008 R2? Looking for a low cost backup for a remote office's server.
