Hello,
if you mean writing the same data to 2 or more diffrerent tapes at the same time (mirror writes): yes this can be done
if you mean spreading the data from the single source across 2 or more tape drives simultaneously, this can also be done.
It really depends on the backup software that you use to backup your data.
could you let us know what it is you are trying to achieve and what your setup is like ?
