HP 9100i Problems

I just installed windows xp, and now I am having problems with my writer. I was using ezcd creator 3.0 that came with the burner when i got it. i tried to install the software, but it says it can't find a cd burner on my IDE...is there a different program that I am supposed to be using?

You need version 4.05 to work reliably with XP.
