Mail rules algorithm changed in Exchnage 2010?
After migration from Exchange 2003 to hosted 2010 we discovered that mail processing rules are working different:
In 2003: such rule processes only emails with distribution group as sender.
In 2010:
When you have [or create] a rule which is supposed to filter emails from a certain sender and this sender is a distribution group, this rule will mistakenly process emails not just from this address, but from all members of this group as well.
Is there some documented change in behaviour?

it's not much, but... it's not much..

Anyway i think the correct procedure to filter mail from the specified sender is to include sender addresses in the filter and not the whole distribution group.
IMHO Exchange 2003 has the bad behaviour.
bye!

Re: Mail rules algorithm changed in Exchnage 2010?
Diego, thank you!
In fact, I still don't fully understand how is apply this to my case.
BTW, old behaviour seems me more logical.
We use the same email as a distribution group address and as "from" address for some automated emails. So I'd like to filter emails from this automated script in certain way, but it shouldn't be applyed to emails from a members of this list.
