When it crashes, it should write a text file to local settings\temp\WER...
That may have more information

Re: Microsoft Project Pro 2003 error when using filters

I am experiencing the same problem, even try it on Microsoft Project 2007 with same errors.
I saw in another forom over the internet, that the solution was to uninstall the HP Credential Manager. Is there other solution?
I'm using HP Laptop 8510p.

Here is the error according to the error reporting from system information:

07/05/2008 19:36 Microsoft Office 12 Faulting application winproj.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 45428184, faulting module winproj.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 45428184, debug? 0, fault address 0x0042d513.

Re: Microsoft Project Pro 2003 error when using filters

Sometimes, the real culprit is an add-in.

within the manager, unselect all add-ins. If this resolves the issue, add each in one-at-a-time until you find the faulting add-in.

Re: Microsoft Project Pro 2003 error when using filters

I managed to solve the problem.
In the Credential manager setting, single sign on tab I unchecked the "Enable single on functionality".
I geuss the problem is in this HP tool.

Re: Microsoft Project Pro 2003 error when using filters

I'm running MS Pro 2003 on a HP Compaq 8710w and experienced the same crash issue which was resolved by deselecting the 'single sign-on' option. Pesky issue that, fore sure! HP should work on a solution for this.
