kernel.dll
Hopefully this is the right forum for this...I check Microsoft.com and couldn't find anything that would help.

Re: kernel.dll
Have you recently installed or downloaded something?
The error typically says "thisfile" has caused a .....
What is the exact message?
First guess is that "thisfile" could be corrupt and you'll
have to replace it...
Also, what OS are you using? 8.1 doesn't play well with 95.

Re: kernel.dll
I am using win98se.
I get three errors, EQGAME for everquest, DXDIAG when I open dxdiag and EXPLORER when I am surfing. The message I get is..
EQGAME caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff9dfff.
I used sfc and didnt show any files to be corrupt.

Re: kernel.dll
Make sure you have the latest (read:compatible with DirectX 8.1)
driver for your sound card as well. If that doesn't work,
you're in exotic territory (DMA conflicts, etc...)and
your best bet would be to try EQ support.

You're better off starting your own thread by clicking NEW MESSAGE. Often, people are disinclined to reply to people 'hitching' on to an existing thread since they know you won't be able to assign points to their answers. Points are the currency of these forums.
FWIW!
