n5470 XP monitor

I recently upgraded my n5470 notebook from 2000 to XP. The monitor doesn't show the colors good.
ME and 2000 showed the colors good but not XP.
XP shows like it's lost a little bit of focus. the screen isn't sharp help.

disable ClearType using the following steps:

Right click the Desktop
Select Properties
Select the Appearance tab
Select Effects
Uncheck the box for smoothing screen fonts or choose the Standard
