Sharad Singhal, Hewlett Packard Labs distinguished technologist and director of The Machine software and applications, talks to Jake Ludington about customers who are incubating software workloads with the help of HPE Pointnext.
The Superdome Flex is incorporating some of the features promised by The Machine, including photonics as an optical replacement for some electrical elements within the high performance servers.
Software-defined scalable memory is allowing the Superdome Flex to move beyond the 48TB limitation and really unlock the power of Memory-Driven Computing.
