Abstract: We’re on the horns of a dilemma. AI model complexity is growing exponentially, but Moore’s Law is in trouble and the world’s energy supply is stagnating. Hewlett Packard Labs is solving the problem using novel accelerators, harnessing the power of the analog world to perform trillions of calculations per second using just a few watts. In this session, Hewlett Packard Labs researchers will show off the entire solution stack, running real-world neural net workloads on fully functional FPGA-based prototype hardware.

Abstract: Memory-Driven Computing is the ultimate composable architecture. The Sandbox, powered by experimental HPE Superdome Flex systems, is where customers’ skunkworks teams can run memory-driven experiments at full throttle. Join Labs’ researchers to find out what’s been going on in the Sandbox, like holding an entire enterprise in memory at once to see it live and breathe, accelerating understanding of correlation between genetic mutation and disease and looking for emergent behaviors across a global network that could herald a zero-day attack.
