Sign up for the “Gen-Z technology overview” webinar

You might have read about Gen-Z Consortium’s recent announcement at Flash Memory Summit, “Gen-Z demonstrates the first step toward multi-vendor interconnects at the Flash Memory Summit”. Or heard about Gen-Z at events like Supercomputing Conferences and at HPE Discover.

Curious to learn more about what is Gen-Z, the consortium and the latest updates on what you need to know and how you can get involved? Register for the Gen-Z technology overview webinar scheduled on Wednesday, September 6 at 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Ppacific Daylight Time.

Michael Krause, vice president and HPE Fellow, will provide an overview of the Gen-Z architecture and technology. Learn about why the consortium of about 40 companies like, Dell and IBM have come together to build a new open, non-proprietary open interconnect standard that enables multiple system component types to efficiently communicate and drive the IT’s innovation engine.

Ron Noblett, vice president, Advanced Architecture Development CTO Group, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, said, “USB is now a regular feature of nearly every device imaginable: phones, PCs, televisions, even cars and IoT devices.  USB was an open standard to replace dedicated keyboard, mouse, serial and printer ports with a single, plug-and-play solution.  We hope to see Gen-Z take the same path, be widely adopted and ignite a broad wave of innovation across the IT industry.”

This webinar is open to anyone who wants to attend. If you’re interested in getting direct notifications about our upcoming webinars and other Memory-Driven Computing and The Machine technical news, events, and workshops sign up today!
