3Gb SAS switch, p700m and non HP storage
I have a Infortrend S12S-R1032 SAS-SATA array connected to the SAS switch in my c7000 and the systems with p700m controllers can only see the very 1st lun and only if it's under 2TB. Should SAS connected storage just work or is there a lack of standardization in the industry right now?
I've tried every kind of configuration tweak I can think of but can only see the 1st lun and only if it's <2TB. Just upgraded the firmware on the sas switch, p700m controller and the Infortrend array. Here is the show config output from hpacucli:
=> show config

I currently have 6 luns defined on the storage and the 500MB lun is the very 1st one. Lun 1 is 600MB, lun 2 is 1GB and they increase in size from there. If I create something larger than 2TB in the 1st lun it shows up as 0MB. Anyone have any ideas about things I can try on the controller, switch or storage to make this work?

Re: 3Gb SAS switch, p700m and non HP storage
SAS switch is 2.2.15.0
P700m is 7.22
OS is CentOS 5.5 Final which is equivalent to RHEL 5.5
Infortrend was contacted but they were less than helpful. They told me to try different lun sizes, ship them the txt dump of the array configuration which looked fine to them, swap the controllers around, change the lun to the second physical channel and re-cable the array none of which helped. They said they haven't tested the array in any sas switch configuration.
I'm attaching the adu-report zip file to this post.
My next option is to get a non-blade system with a known tested lsi sas card.
