3rd Party External SAS with BL SAS switch, P700 etc.

I have some third party external SAS JBOD arrays that I would like to hook-up to some BL460c blades. Does anyone know if any part of the SAS architecture is going to barf simply because the target vendor is not HP ?

While I appreciate the 'unsupported' configuration I have a not unreasonable expectation that SAS devices should play nice together (and they've done so thus far).
