499253-B21 and 499243-B21 Power Supplies for C7000

Hi,

 

We have 4x 499253-B21 PSUs installed into an old CTO C7000. We want to add additional PSUs to the enclosure, however 499253-B21 does not appear to be available anymore. Can we use 499243-B21 instead? Both PSUs have the same spares part number and the same description, (HP 2400W Gold Ht Plg Pwr Supply Kit) but I want to be 100% sure they are the same thing as I know you cannot mix PSUs in an enclosure.

As long as the spares numbers match, and the wattage and efficiency ratings match, there won't be a problem. You should be good to mix these.
