6120G/XG Blade Switch Redundancy Setup
Hi,
We have 2 6120g/xg's on c7000 enclosure with 4 blades.
We managed to configure and use one switch but not sure on how to configure the other switch for redundancy.
Is there a tutorial or info on this? Can someone please provide a link?
Best regards,
noel

Re: 6120G/XG Blade Switch Redundancy Setup
I havent seen any document out there regarding best practices, as far as I can tell you can manage redundancy in two different ways, first will be configuring NIC teaming or Bonding at the OS level and then configure Uplink Failure detection on the Switches. The other option will be using the internal connection between the switches on bay1 and 2, then configure Spanning tree to block the redundant path.

Re: 6120G/XG Blade Switch Redundancy Setup
Thanks Lmm,
We did NIC teaming using HP network configuration utility. We are now using the servers but with only one switch configured - we only have one NIC interface active. We need to configure the other switch.
I'm thinking of mirroring switch_1 configuration to switch_2.
Best regards,
noel
