Re: About SAN Technology
A SAN (storage area network) is basically a network with storage devices, servers and network infrastructure (switches).
step - by - step always depends on the kind of devices, server OS etc.
For basic information see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storage_area_network
and follow the reference links there.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: About SAN Technology
In my company I have a SAN system with EVA6000, 2 enclosures, totally 12 blades.
The first times I had some problems and difficult but now all is working fine.
Now it's enough easy to manage.
For my experience is a good technology.
