Access MSA1000 CLI through SUV cable serial port

Does anyone know how to do this? I use minicom to remotely manage the MSA1000 on other systems but on the BL460c I have plugged it into the LOCAL I/O (SUV) cable serial port and any device I use, minicom just hangs. I have tried /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1.

Here is output from dmesg | grep serial

serial8250: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
serial8250: ttyS1 at I/O 0x2f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A

But this output exists on any server, not only ones with a SUV cable attached, so I think I am not using the correct device in minicom.

Any help appreciated.

Henri

I have the special MSA cable attached to the Local I/O serial port and the other end to the first controller in the MSA.
