Just a theory but have you tried using a different browser? ie Firefox.

Re: BL 460c G6 Blades on a C7000 Enclosure

Hi All

I checked the BIOS and can confirm that the correct Part Number is present in the Model field...

Trying another browser like Firefox and Chrome exhibit the same problem!

I think I may have to call HP on this one!

I'll keep ypu posted!

Re: BL 460c G6 Blades on a C7000 Enclosure

It is interesting that the BIOS has the Part #, but the inventory claims that it is unknown. It maybe (unlikely though you might think) that there isn't a graphic available.

It would be interesting to find out if any one is using the 460c G6 blades and is getting a correct display. I would also be interested in what part # their BIOS says it is.

- OA GUI partnumber is [unknown]
- OA systemboard spare p/n is 531221-001

Re: BL 460c G6 Blades on a C7000 Enclosure

Are you able to SSH or telnet to the enclosure's active OA? If so, try the following commands and post the results.

SHOW SERVER NAMES
(lists all servers)

SHOW SERVER LIST
(lists all servers' ilo)

SHOW SERVER INFO 6
SHOW SERVER INFO 7
(lists all info about specific servers)

SHOW DEVICE SERIAL_NUMBER BLADE 6
SHOW DEVICE SERIAL_NUMBER BLADE 7
(lists serial number for specific servers)

Re: BL 460c G6 Blades on a C7000 Enclosure

david you can also post the show all

but firstly i would flash firmware on the "unknown devices" and reinsert them then reboot the OA
logs
Extract the Showall report:%%%
Go to the OA GUI>Enclosure settings > Configuration Scripts > fill the URL of the file in the URL box:
ftp://iss:tools@hprc.external.hp.com/showall.txt
and the hit APPLY button. The commands in the file showall.txt will be downloaded and executed in the GUI and the result will be visible in a new pop up window. You can easily copy this into a notepad text editor.

attatch it here i will check it

Re: BL 460c G6 Blades on a C7000 Enclosure

Hi All

Sorry I have not been able to reply, been away travelling for work.

I just want to update you all that for some reason, the graphic has now appeared!

As far as I'm aware, nothing has been done so I can't even explain why it just appeared.

I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days...

At the same time I thank everyone for their suggestions....I would not have even thought of some them!
