BL20p enhanced and standard models: signal backplane boards compatibility

I have the standard model of the Bl20p enclosure series (separate iLO port for each server).
Can I replace the signal backplane PCA board of the enhanced model by using that PCA of the standard?

For information:

Enhanced model (281404-B22)
Standard model (281404-B21)

Thanks.

Re: BL20p enhanced and standard models: signal backplane boards compatibility

Hi,

I don't think they are compatible, because thay have a different signal routing design.

Check page 5&6 and you will see the difference :

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00429271/c00429271.pdf

The signals are routed differently and the signal backplane will expect enhanced management module to route all ilo ports to...
