BL25P SAN connectivity, no link?
Hi,
I have a BL25P with the fibre mezzanine card, the host operating system (VMWare ESX3) see's the fibre card ok.
The switches in the enclosure (HP) also have the fibre modules in the back.
However, when connecting a fibre cable there is no link light. We have tried another known working cable from another server (non-blade) but there is still no connection.
This is the same whichever enclosure switch we use so it's baffling me. We know it's not the cable or fibre switch at the other end, the HBA card is detected ok in the host OS, and it seems unlikely that there could be the same issue with two separate enclosure switches and modules.
Help!

Could be that the switch-ports are disabled.
