BL25p G2 Memory rebooting issue

Hi,
I have a bl25p server and I have 6 - 2gig DIMMS - 2Rx4 PC2-5300P.

It is a dual processor server and I filled the first bank with 4 DIMMS and then the second bank I put 2 DIMMS furtherst from the processor. But everytime I power on the blade it gets to the memory test screen gets about 3/4ths of the way then reboots.

I have tried just using 8gig with 4 DIMMS in the first bank and it boots up fine.

Any ideas or suggestions on how I can get all 12gig to work?

There are 4 memory banks on this server
> Processor1 Memory Bank A
> Processor1 memory Bank B
> Processor2 Memory Bank C
> Prcoessor2 Memory Bank D

From your description, I understand that you had populated Proc1 Bank A and Bank B and Processor 2 Mem bank C (Farthest from the 2nd Processor) - Please Confirm
Incase if the 2 DIMM's are populated on BankD move them to BankC.

Yes, I have populated Proc1 Bank A&B and then Proc2 Bank C. I tried alot of different configurations with no luck so far.

Ok, looks like I got it to work by putting 2 DIMMS in Bank A, then the other 4 in C and D... Weird thought I tried every combination.

Not sure why it won't work with A and B full and C having 2?
