If I have a BL40P blade, is it hotpluggable into the chassis? I assume it is because what would be the point of blade system if you have to power the entire chassis down to plug in another server.
My boss wants some sort of verification however. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's the idea of blade server and blade server chassis. Pretty much everything is hot-pluggable here, maybe with the except of the backplane :)
