BL460c Degraded

BL460c in a c7000 enclosure.
Connected to an MSA1000.
Running Win2k8 64-bit 16Gb RAM
Recently upgraded from Win2k3 32-bit 2Gb RAM

Getting the following in IML Log:

Serial Number / Product ID: xxxxxxx / AL585A
System ROM: I15 07/10/2009; backup system ROM: 05/12/2009
System Health: Ok
Internal Health LED: Degraded
Server Power: ON
UID Light: OFF
Last Used Remote Console: Remote Console
Latest IML Entry: Corrected Memory Error threshold exceeded (System Memory, Memory Module 5)

Could this be a firmware issue, or more likely a problem with the new RAM?

Re: BL460c Degraded

well ..You are not running the latest fw versions. There has been fixes to memory faults detection. But it can also be faulty memory.

Test it with some memory "burn-in" program.

Re: BL460c Degraded

Thanks for the advice.
I have run the Support Pack, which I thought would audit the drivers/firmware and automatically upgrade to the newest, so I assumed (wrongly) that the firmware/BIOS were up-to-date. I'll get the FW updated and test the memory..
