BL460c G6 - BartPE/WinPE fails to detect 10GbE Net
Hello everyone,
For some reason I cannot get either CDs I've built to properly detect the network hardware. I've followed HP procedure with the WinPE (RIS drivers) and used both those and W2K3 server drivers in the BartPE. This is a new technology to our site. We are currently using C7000 enclosures with Cisco 3020 switches. So technically not using the full 10GbE yet. If anyone has any hints/help, it would be appreciated.

Re: BL460c G6 - BartPE/WinPE fails to detect 10GbE Net
Ok, figured this one out. Murphy's law: troll Google more.
Working now with WinPE (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc709665%28WS.10%29.aspx).
You need to download the "Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008" and use the Windows images there (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=94BB6E34-D890-4932-81A5-5B50C657DE08&displaylang=en) for whichever OS (x86, x64, etc).
Combine that with the install of the "HP NC-Series Multifunction Drivers for RIS/WinPE" (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=3884098&prodNameId=3884099&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-f443b35300f6403397aa415e76), you will have a functioning boot CD.
Note: installation of the drivers to the WinPE image process must use the syntax: peimg /inf=c:\win2003pe\b06nd.inf c:\winpe_x86\mount and peimg /inf=c:\win2003pe\evnd.inf c:\winpe_x86\mount
Assuming you use the same pathing as the Microsoft WinPE page describes at the top link.
