BL465 G7 + NC325m running Redhat 5.7 - Issues with NC325 after running a "service network restart"
Hi All
Have an interesting issue with one of our BL465 G7 servers running Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.7
The unit has a NC325 card in it.
If we issue ifdown/ifup again one of the interfaces on the card or run service network restart the NC325 ports fail to come back up. The only way to resolve it is to bounce the server
Doesn't seem to be an issue when the same server is rebuilt to RHEL 6....Unfortunately we need to run RHEL5 for the current application stack.
Is anyone aware of any known driver issues with the BL465 G7 / NC325 / RHEL 5.7 combination.
OS, Firmware and drivers are fully up to do.
Appreciate your feedback.

Would it be possible to somehow trace what the commands you do actually do? Maybe that way it would be possible to see where it's halting.
Is this working on other blades with same hw/os setup?
Maybe it's a network configuration issue specific to this blade?
Any virtual connect or something like that?
