BL465C G7 + SSD 120 GB running slow
Hey
We have a BL465C + SSD 120 GB installed with Windows 2003 R2.
When we test the disk access using HD Tune we get ~107 MB/sec.... when testing with a consumer SSD disk (on anther machine).. we get over 250 MB/sec.
Why?

Re: BL465C G7 + SSD 120 GB running slow
Hello,
probably in your server is slower ssd disk more suitable for server with SLC technology. Your common disk could by high-tech MLC drive capable of such speed but with less durability and IOPS performance. Check your server drive with some SSD tolls, check drive specs on HP, find out real vendor of ssd (intel, samsung..) and compare to their specs.
I've checked bl465cG7 quickspec, but there is no detailed info about SSD used, just capacity.
