BL860C and HP-UX 11.31 install

Hi All,

I am trying to install HP-UX 11.31 on BL860c using the Media DVD which is again connected using USB DVD, after the BOOT from DVD, i get the below message and couldn't continue the install as it fails reading could not loadfile

Rescan for the device.

Check if you have latest firmware on the server.

Use a supported DVD drive or virtual media.

Yes this the installation is done using HP-DVD only and version i tried is 0809 11.31 and 0803 11.31

As already mentioned ... try to rescan, check firmware.

You already have 0809?

Yes I did try rescan 15 times and i tried 0809 which came in this week

Try with above mentioned HP-DVD... I was able to load with OS with it..

Hi All,

I found the problem, the USB drive was connected to a USB hub and the hub turns out to be USB 1.0 and moving it to USB 2.0 it started working
